P&O Cruises’ Strictly Come Dancing themed cruises have proved extremely popular with fans of the BBC dance competition. They give guests the opportunity to get close to some of the show’s professional dancers and judges through dance classes, live talks and glitzy theatre performances. There’s also the chance to see some of the stunning costumes up close. I’ve sailed on two Strictly cruises now and I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed if you love the show. Our cruises featured the likes of Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke, Joe McFadden and Aljaž Skorjanec.
Strictly favourites
P&O Cruises have just announced which Strictly dancers will be stepping on board their ships in 2019. This year’s professionals include: Giovanni Pernice, Luba Mushtuk, Gorka Marquez, Karen Clifton, Amy Dowden, Janette Manc rara, Aljaž Skorjanec, Neil Jones, Katya Jones, Oti Mabuse, Diane Buswell and Johannes Radebe. More names will be announced soon.
Guests will not only be dazzled by the sizzling dance displays but will also have the chance to perfect their own moves with a private one-to-one dance lesson with one of the pro dancers. Other opportunities for Strictly fans include the chance to join a glamorous dinner hosted by a pro dancer, autograph sessions, Q&A events and the chance to enter the popular Strictly Come Dancing competition, which culminates in the Grand Final in the ship’s theatre.
